My favorite Thanksgiving Sides

To be fair, I’m not sure how much cooking I’ll be doing this year, in an effort to support local restaurants I know I’ll be purchasing most of what I’ll be bringing to Thanksgiving lunch & dinner. With that being said, I do want to share some of my favorite go to sides for Holiday meals that anyone can easily make!

Pineapple Souffle - my cousin Dallas’ grandmother has this recipe in her cookbook that I always follow but I found a similar on pinterest to share with you. I love this dish, it’s not too sweet, perfect with ham, and delicious cold or warm. This is the closest recipe to hers.

Creamed Spinach - I’ve made this a few times and really should incorporate it into dinners throughout the year, it’s easy and besides the cheese, heavy cream, and butter it’s almost “good for you”. This is the recipe I’ve used before.

Cranberry Sauce - I LOVE making cranberry sauce! Zesting the orange is a pain in the rear but worth the extra effort. This is a video of the sauce.

Corn Casserole - the kind with Jiffy mix…this is the recipe.

My go to style for Thanksgiving

I love the look of layering but in Florida it’s just not cool enough for multiple layers. I just ordered these “fake collars” to wear under shirts, sweaters, or even a plain sweatshirt. The collar with the black tie reminds me of Blair Waldorf & I love the Peter Pan Collar. I’m planning to wear the one with pearl detail for Thanksgiving!

Gift Guide Under $25

Everyone who has purchased these leggings loves them. You can’t go wrong whether it’s for yourself or a gift.
