How long was January? I feel like I accomplished so much this past month, I've been busy in real estate, I've followed MOST of my resolutions, and have been really keeping up with my blog and LIKEtoKNOW.it app. So that is exciting and thank you all for reading and engaging, it means a lot!

So let's start with the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, it is a free app that lets you shop my outfits easily. You can even screen shot my pictures on instagram and an email will be sent to you, it's that easy!

One of my resolutions was to start exercising. I started with a trainer two weeks ago. Twice/week for an hour and I'm expecting Victoria Secret to reach out to me soon to become the newest angel.

Another resolution I had was to start eating more soups/beans. My friend Jordanne literally says the only thing I ever cook is soups and beans and yet that's something I want to do more. I have some tips on this if your wanting an easy crockpot dinner that's healthy (or well, my opinion of healthy). I am making this tonight for dinner.

1) a bag of dry 15 bean soup, I actually found 11 bean soup at Fresh Market but Publix has 15 beans

2) soak them for a few minutes, rinse, soak again, rinse, then throw in crock pot (do that while you're browning turkey meat)

3) brown your ground turkey on the stove (or lean ground beef)

4) pour in an entire thing of chicken broth (or beef)

5) 1 can of tomato sauce

6) 1 can diced tomatoes

7) throw the meat in and let it cook on low for 6 or so hours.

8) I add a few spices; salt, pepper, turmeric, italian, garlic powder, onion powder (BUT ONLY A DASH, not too much!)

9) I would throw in some onion and garlic (if I lived alone...)

My bff, Rach Parcell, shared her morning smoothie on her instagram one day and I just had to dive into doing smoothies! I drink them sometimes in the morning after coffee and sometimes in the afternoon.

Here is my basic recipe:

1) Vanilla flavored almond milk (maybe 3/4 cup, I just look but it's not a lot)

2) either a whole banana or a half...really just depends on how much sugar I've had so far that day

3) a HUGE hand full of organic spinach

4) frozen blueberries, again not a lot but maybe a little more than hand full

5) 2 cubes of ice

OPTIONAL:

6) a scoop of collagen powder (unflavored)

7) chia seeds

8) almond butter (a spoonful)

Then blend up, THIS is the blender I use and it's perfect. I keep frozen mango and frozen raspberries too so I sometimes throw those in, but the best is just blueberry & banana.

I've been a loyal fan of lululemon for probably 12 years now, but I've recently found ALO Yoga brand and I love these leggings & this crop tank. Seems to be the same level of quality.

XOXO
